Nik Ponzio was raised in an off-grid 1800’s farmhouse in the backwoods of Vermont, so he appreciates Vermonters’ commitment to the land and resources that sustain us all. “I got excited about the magical properties of solar energy when I first saw a radiometer, or solar engine, as a child. There's something very mystical and satisfying about harnessing the energy of the Sun.”
Since 2001, Nik has been designing and installing solar systems throughout Vermont, New Hampshire and New York. Nik has an electrical engineering degree from the University of Vermont and is nationally certified as a solar PV installer. With a highly detail-oriented approach to design and an engineer’s insight into problem-solving, Nik brings a disciplined creativity to challenges in new and existing systems.
